| . Camp Newsletter Mount Traber Bible Camp & Retreat Centre CAMPFIRE Mt. Traber Bible Camp Newsletter Volume 2 Edition 2 Hello Mount Traber Bible Camp friends! As we head into the Christmas season and the end of yet another year, we find ourselves going into our "memory box" of summer 2007. Our most cherished memory for this summer would be that 91 young people made a profession of faith to Jesus Christ. It was such a blessing that the Lord allowed Mark & I, Paul Briggs (our Interim Director) as well as our amazing staff, be part of this glorious ministry. We would like to take the time to welcome Paul's family, Angela (his wife) and their children Lea (4) and Seth (1) to M.T.B.C. We also commend Angela MacDonald on an extraordinary job as program director for a second year. We were able to keep our campers dry with the completion of the chapel roof, and our cooks happy with the addition of a new range hood in the kitchen. We would like to welcome two new members to the M.T.B.C. Board of Directors: Jeanie Day who is new to our committee and Melissa Scheel who is the new treasurer. Melissa has taken over from Jessica Miller who is now busy with a new baby boy. WELCOME Jeanie and Melissa!! People have been overheard asking themselves is it really true? Has it finally arrived? Is this really it? And the answer is a definite "YES"!! M.T.B.C. has a new well. For many years the camp has been plagued with the lack of water, which has led to many problems. With the new well installed, we have found an over abundant supply of water. Along with this, a new propane hot water heater and U.V. light. Like Moses in the wilderness, we prayed and the Lord provided. (Matthew 7:8, Rev.21:6) We had a wonderful turnout for our Old Fashion Christmas held on Dec. 9, 07. We celebrated with singing, special music Christmas stories and lots of goodies. We will be redesigning our website for 2008, so keep your eyes open for our upcoming events.If you were on staff here at M.T.B.C. don't miss our New Years Party on Dec. 30th, 07 @ 3:00pm, hope to see you all there.
