Summer Staff Qualifications...
A proven faith in Jesus Christ with a lifestyle that gives credibility to his/her beliefs. Whether you are at camp or away from camp you are an ambassador for Christ and this ministry.
Must adhere to faith statement below.
A genuine love for the campers and their safety and well-being physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. You must be prepared to put the camper's needs over your own.
A teachable spirit. This means you are willing to learn and grow under the authority of those over you.
A good team player - able to work in unity and co-operation with others. To accept and live the Faith, Mission and Purpose Statements of MTBC.
In any case of emergency or crisis on the campgrounds you must stay with your campers and submit to the orders or directives given by your camp leadership.
To keep your personal walk with God as strong as possible knowing that true ministry is not what we do but what God does through us by the Holy Spirit.
To pray continually and keep God's word close to your heart. An attitude of prayer throughout your day is essential to remind yourself that Jesus is there as your Strength and your Friend whatever the situation.
To have at least three people outside of camp, who are committed to pray for you on a regular basis while you are working at camp.
To respect and care for the campgrounds, facilities and equipment and ensure the campers do the same.
