Mount Traber Bible Camp

Mark, Debbie, Shanda and Austin Taylor are a BCM Missionary Family assigned to Mount Traber Bible Camp.  Mount Traber is a non-denominational bible camp where the sole purpose is to help young people enjoy an awesome time at camp and show them that God loves them and how to have fun in the beautiful outdoors that God had created for them.  Mark and Debbie are part of BCM (Bible Centered Ministries) International, Canada. They left Middle Musquodoboit in the summer of 2006 and took their family to Ontario, where they were trained in many areas of children's camping ministry.

Mark was raised in Musquodoboit Valley working most of his life with his Family business, Taylor Lumber.  Mark has been involved with Mount Traber: as a camper, Sunday Schools, as Program Director, as a member of the Christian Service Brigades and as a board member.  After 2 years of missionary training, Aug. 2006 - Aug. 2008, Mark was appointed the Interim Director. In 2010 Mark was appointed the Director.

Mark's wife, Debbie, has also been involved with Mount Traber most of her life as a camper, Program Director and Camp Counselor. Debbie continues to work full time along side Mark at the camp as Administrator, Rental co-coordinator and Food Services.

Shanda (1995) and Austin (1997) work right along side their parents in many areas.  Shanda has been helping to run the horse program for the last 2 years. She has attended Colchester Christian Academy in grade 8 and is being home schooled for grade 10.

Mark and Debbie feel so blessed in what the Lord has done for them and there family and say it is a GREAT privilege to be part of the Lords ministry here at MTBC.
