I grew up going to Mount Traber as child and as a teenager I worked on staff at the camp. In 2009, I took on the role of program director and that summer; God introduced the idea of doing full time ministry at Mount Traber, but it was another whole year before I realized that Mount Traber was where God wanted me.
![]() When I graduated from High School I went right into university and completed two years of my bachelor of science, however God was tugging at my heart and I knew that I wasn't where God wanted me to be, I was following my owns plans instead of allowing God to have his way in my life. So I took the year off of university in 2009-2010 and I went to India for 3 months, volunteering at an orphanage and a school, helping to teach English. It was one of the most challenging things I have ever done in my life but also one of the most rewarding. God used that experience to show me all he had planned for my life- I just had to step out in faith and trust Him.
So when I returned I filled out my application to become a BCM missionary. I attended BCM candidate orientation in October 2010 and was accepted as a BCM missionary, I have committed to full time ministry as program director here at the camp for the next two years. During those two years I will also be finishing my Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies through Moody Bible Institute's Distance Learning. It is amazing to see how the Lord works and I am excited to be a part of the ministry at Mount Traber Bible Camp! Nicole Davis
